Getting started with your Shopping Cart


The Shopping Cart is one of our largest and most feature rich products. Because of this, we have dedicated this Help article to summarising the three tabs you will receive with your Shopping Cart (Shop Inventory, Shop Orders and Shop Settings) and the contents within them. Use this article to get a overview of the features contained within the Shopping Cart tool and to obtain links to the help articles that you require.

Shop Inventory

  • Products - Lists all the products you have added to your Shopping Cart tool. See Adding a Product to Your Shopping Cart for more information.
  • Categories - You can categorise your Shopping Cart Products by adding Categories here. For instance, if you are a clothing retailer, you could have categories like Men's Wear, Ladies Wear and Children's Wear. See Adding a New Category to your Shopping Cart  for more informaiton.
  • Custom Fields - Custom fields are used to display information about products where the information doesn't fit into the standard fields.
  • Brands - You can also categorise your products by brand. See Adding a New Brand to your Shopping Cart for more information.
  • Suppliers - Set suppliers for products to manage your inventory and supplier orders.
  • Reviews - Approve pending reviews, and add new reviews for products in your shop.
  • Import Products - If you have a database of your products that you wish to import, or if you want to export a list of your products, you can do that here. See Exporting/Importing a .csv File of Products in your Shopping Cart.

Shop Orders

  • Shop Orders - This tab tracks the orders your customers have made in your Shopping Cart.
  • Quotes - This tab allows you to view and manage the workflow of the quotes you receive.
  • Customers - This tab lists all your customers.
  • Sales Report - Produces shop product sales reports on your Shopping Cart.
  • Stock Report - Produces current shop stock level reports on your Shopping Cart.

Shop Settings

  • Shop Emails - Where you set up and edit your automated shop emails including Payment Confirmation and Order Shipped emails.
  • Discounts - Where you set up Discount pricing codes.
  • Loyalty Program
  • Price Lists - Where you set up your different Price Lists.
  • Volume Discounts - Where you set up discounts for volume orders.
  • Variant Templates - Create and manage some templates for variant options that products share.
  • Shipping - Where you set up your Shipping options.
  • Gift Vouchers - Where you set up Online Gift Vouchers.
  • General Settings - In the general tab, you can find anything that is not classified under the other tabs.
