Using Categories in your Real Estate Software


You can use Categories in your Real Estate Software to create pages dedicated to a particular Category of Property. For example, you may have a large demand for Waterfront properties. You can create a Category called "Waterfront Properties," then have this category feed into a page on your website so that when anyone views that page, they will see a list of your properties that are Waterfront Properties. This requires us to set up a specialised page and additional costs for this setup may be applied. Contact us for the exact details on this. 

Using Categories in your Real Estate Software:

  1. Go to the Real Estate Settings tab when you are logged into your Website account.
  2. Click on the Categories tab.
  3. Click on Add Category.
  4. Fill in the Form:
    • Category Name: The name of the category, such as "Waterfront Properties."
    • Description: A description of this category.
    • Password Protected: You may like to ensure that only contacts of a certain group can view this category. If this is the case, select Yes then choose which Password Protected Group can view this category.
    • Visible: Whether or not you want this Category to be visible on your website. If you are still working on the Category, you may like to set this visibility to No.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Contact us and let us know that you want to create a page on your website that lists all the Properties in this category. We'll discuss with you the timeline for this project, as well as any associated costs and where you want this page to appear in your website.

We recommend that if you're going to use this feature you set up all the Categories you want to use before contacting us. That way we can do all the pages for you at once which may cut down the cost and time of the entire project.
